Amino acid composition of purified protein or peptide can be analysed. The data aquired is often used to determine primary structure of the protein. The result for mixed amino acid standard is shown above.
ESR data
When the molecular sample is placed in magnetic field of a certain size, interaction between the electronic spin and the magnetic potential causes electronic excitation, and absorption is observed at specific wave length of electoromagnetic spectrum. By mesurement of ESR spectrum, transition metal ions and radical molecules can be quantified.
HPLC data
Solution including impurity is applied onto the column, in which fine resin is packed, by high pressure and high flow speed, and separated materials can be automatically detected. Physiolosically active molecules sach as enzymes are purified in a short time.

Photographs of the gels on which protein or nucleic acid samples was electrophoresed and stained can be taken using CCD camera. Since the camera is controled by a personal computer and is without films, it is facile to retouch, to analyze and to maintein the data.


Specific component of cultured cells or tissures can be stained with fluoresce reagent and fluorescence emission can be observed with microscope when excited with the light with specific wave length. intracellar constructions or phenomina which are invisible under simple microscopy can be observed.

Cell culture
Handling cells cultured or dissociated from tissues should be performed in sterile condition. Experiments are to be performed in the cleanbench, which is designed to shut out external air. Also all the other equipments to handle cells should be sterilized.
